How to study

Each course suggests ten weeks, three readings per week. Read once without a dictionary, examine the evidence, apply the grammar tip, and write your response before opening the review.

The online courses let you keep notes, mark completed readings and download your notes.

Choose your starting point

Media I suits learners approaching or developing ILR Reading 2. Media II assumes established reading ability around 2 or 2+ and develops the skills associated with Reading 3.

ILR levels are instructional targets, not official ratings or certificates. Some authentic passages need scaffolding. Reading activities do not independently certify listening or speaking proficiency.

Keep both courses for offline study
